COACH HAUTER HELPED
THESE TEAMS SUCCEED...
WELCOME TO COACHING SOCCER MADE SIMPLE!
I have been told that I am a Players Coach.  I am able to get the most out of my Players in Training to make their Games easier.  I happen to know that f the players work together by communicating and organizing each other, then often they will succeed on the Field.  During the game, if you have run your Training Sessions properly, you should have little or nothing to say except to compliment them.  You see, Games are Won or Lost in Training, not on the field during the actual Game.

A team gave me a helicopter so I could fly from practice to practice
It is my job as a Coach to “paint a picture” for the Players for what you want to see.  How do you do that?
– Use Players to demonstrate
– Then, always ask the Players
- Does that make sense?  Do you understand what I am asking you to do?
– When doing this, be sure to have high energy.  Be encouraging and enthusiastic!
– When you see what you want to see in an activity, be sure to compliment them!

Yes, you may lose your voice in the process.  However, there is nothing better than making Players better and challenging them with a Liberal Arts approach to this Great Game.  All Players, regardless of ability, should be treated the same – they deserve to be treated the same.

You always want to make the most of your time with the Players.  Players will become better by the demands of the Game, the width of the field, handling the ball with composure in tight spaces and coming to training willing to step out of their “Comfort Zone”.

Do not allow your Players to use the word “can’t” – instead, tell them to say “I am temporarily having difficulty!”  Your mind can’t take a joke, so whether you think you can or think you can’t, you are right!!

Stephen is currently the Ohio South Olympic Development Program Director for District 1 and has been a Region II Staff Coach.  He has over 27 years of playing, coaching, and training soccer.  Stephen also holds a USSF “A” and National Youth License, NSCAA Director Of Coaching Diploma, and is an instructor for USSF Coaching Licensing.  Most importantly, Stephen is committed to developing the player on and off the field to succeed in LIFE and there is no better way to do that than Soccer.

Stephen is also the State Director of Ohio for the Genova International School of Soccer which has helped over 80 American Players sign Professional Soccer Contracts in 3 years.  It is available for Boys and Girls as well.  For more information on this, email Stephen at CoachHauter@aol.com.

During the game, if you have run your Training Sessions properly, you should have little or nothing to say except to compliment them. You see, Games are Won or Lost in Training, not on the field during the actual Game.

It is my job as a Coach to “paint a clear picture” for the Players for what you want to see.

How do you do that?

– Use Players to demonstrate - do a slow walk through
– Be sure to have high energy. Be encouraging and enthusiastic!
– When you see what you want to see in an activity, be sure to compliment them (over the top)!

Yes, you may lose your voice in the process. However, there is nothing better than making Players better and challenging them with a Liberal Arts approach to this Great Game. All Players, regardless of ability, should be treated the same – they deserve to be treated the same. Do not play favorites.

You always want to make the most of your time with the Players and maximize touches on the ball.

Players will become better by the demands of the Game, the width of the field, handling the ball with composure in tight spaces and coming to training willing to step out of their “Comfort Zone”.

“As a professional soccer coach, I am always searching for quality resources that I can useto develop players, my teams, and expand my knowledge of the game. I especially look forward to receiving Coach Hauter’s emails when they include a drill from the National team or a possession/attacking drill from one of my favorite clubs in the Premiership and Budesliga. This resource gives me the opportunity to promote some of these quality training sessions to my youth teams with measurable results.”
